Failure to diagnose UTI, resulting in a delay of appropriate therapy, has been reported cause renal scarring, hypertension, and kidney failure among infants. Results The current included 100 admitted NICU sepsis. Positive culture (proven sepsis) detected 60%, proportion positive (UTI) entire group 11%. incidence 11.7% proven compared 10% suspected sepsis, it 16.36% (LOS) versus 4.44% early-onset (EOS). There statistically significant association poor feeding intolerance (UTI). Leukopenia expert panel criteria score showed high sensitivity (81.80% 90.90%, but low specificity for diagnosis Conclusions Gram-negative bacteria highly cases Poor Finally, recommended especially late type.
